Decent route is an understatement, every single stage has real GC potential and the Kühtai stage is possibly the best high mountain stage I've ever seen in a .1.So the Österreich-Rundfahrt (yes, I still use the proper name) is starting on the 9th and the route actually looks decent:
The introduction of Spandelles gotta rank quite highly.Decent route is an understatement, every single stage has real GC potential and the Kühtai stage is possibly the best high mountain stage I've ever seen in a .1.
Kühtai is hard, I've climbed the side that they do first (with 1km at 13%) and the Ötztal/Silzer Sattel + Kühtai combo multiple times when I still lived in Innsbruck. That first steep ramp after the short downhill and a 10kms at 10% climb snaps your legs.Decent route is an understatement, every single stage has real GC potential and the Kühtai stage is possibly the best high mountain stage I've ever seen in a .1.
That Otztal climb as the penultimate ascent on Stage 4 looks brutal.Decent route is an understatement, every single stage has real GC potential and the Kühtai stage is possibly the best high mountain stage I've ever seen in a .1.
I was 12 at the time, file that one under stages I haven’t seenThe introduction of Spandelles gotta rank quite highly.
