Race should be WT btw. Portugal deserves a WT race and this one is great. I heard it's a real possibility for the near future. Would've been way better than fricking Copenhagen
Copenhagen is fine for what it is. We all need the occasional race where you can look at a photo of the finishing line and have seen everything you need to see. The only thing I don't understand is why it's 230km long when 2,3km would suffice for settling the outcome.

Copenhagen should have been in/around Vejle!

In which case it wouldn't be Copenhagen...

Well they couldn't call it the Copenhagen Marathon for legal reasons.

Not a single race that just gets WT status in their first edition is fine. Straight up BS and a money thing.

I have to give them props for finding a route even less selective than the 2011 Worlds though. It takes dedication to be that spectacularly bland. Back then they even put the feed zone on the longest uphill of the circuit to make it even harder to attack than it already was.
