Interesting situation with 2 UAE in the break but Bennett there 2 minutes down, gotta go just hard enough to make it whilst not threatening Torres' place. Sad that the Escarabajo isn't there for the Padun style back to back but it's probably too easy for him.

yeah, looks like teams like UAE and Q36.5 are happy to contest the stage win instead of going for GC

Would haver loved for Tudor or Q36.5 to try something with a guy in the break. let's see if there's enough of a possibility on the last climb... maybe not for the GC anymore other than de la Cruz but for the stage win...meintjes is not the type of rider to control that

Another win for Ivo Oliveira, 30th for UAE this season.

Intermarché getting some more points with Zimmermann's GC win.

Budget Wout nearly managed to close the door perfectly, but couldn't control his bike well enough on the cobbles.

A few of those wins are asterisked under the farmers clause. This race supposed to be a nice week for Italian conti riders and u23 teams, but of course the real Madrid cycling establishment have to show up and act like gods gift to cycling when they win everything

Buying stages too, I've seen Sjjeodjed Bax beat Matthews, Valverde, Hirschi etc in sprints in hilly races, someone needs to check his account.
