A few more WT teams would definitely be nice. There are two cooked Visma riders, two cooked AG2R riders, a few conti riders and an army of super strong UAE/Ineos guys who are just sabotaging everything. A slightly frustrating situation to watch.

They should have the three Spanish races Friday to Sunday, so that this one isn't on a Monday.

Bernal seems to be flying atm, love to see it not gonne lie.

He looks really calm and quiet, looks great super comfortable and fit..but Kern Pharmacy rider is gapping every time the camera goes to front 3..Kwaiatkowski is same as always well prepared and pressing the pace, McNulty looks strong, don't expect Kern rider to make it another @37k at this pace, he is not pulling through.. Surviving I suspect

Exactly, racing positive and aggressive, not asking anyone for anything, just monster effort on the front!! The guy has great style and heart!!

Only possible winners here other than Kwiato/McNulty would be someone like Del Toro/Bernal/Wellens going over the top if Tulett/Labrosse manage to reach the front somehow.

If Van Aert brings it all together before the main climb, Tulett can mark moves and wait for the sprint.

Curious to see who from UAE launches from the chase , any other day hanging around with Wout for a bunch sprint is a bad bet, but today his bank account likely empty after @30-40 minutes pulling full gas on the front!!

I still expect UAE have this right where they want it with either Wellens or Del Toro is my guess but I want Bernal to take this and wouldnt be shocked with how he rides. The winner is in the chasing group.

Wellens blew a few days ago at Murcia, and Del Toro was absolutely toast in the sprint, looked wasted.. For reference was beat by Nario Quintana in the sprint!!!

This is a great race, complex situation for everyone, hard to know what to do, Swift looks strong though, good on the gravel.

High risk move for certain but he only miscalculated by a kilometer or 2..looks like break will be caught.. Poor chump from Kern can't keep the wheel even riding as a sucker fish looks like Pedro Delgado recipe is weak!!
