Must be somewhere between KOM 1 and Stropones given he didn't get any KOM points there, that misty descent didn't look fun at all, hard to derive from the situation though.

Looking good for Lopez, Stussi appears to have prepared for the race though and Q36.5 still have 3 so maybe some action on the last climb.

Lopez +3s at the int.

I think he is quite bad descending-wise and seen him lose time on a lot of descents.

I watch all races and Plapp manages to hang on descents and i stress hang on. Its obvious today he has not lost it on the descent, but on the ascent. There is no way hepburn should be two minutes ahead and there is no indication Plapp has crashed. He's had a bad day which unfortunately has happened too often for Jayco in 2025.

Think not because his teammate ( non climber ) Hepburn is two minutes ahead and surely would wait for him on the descent. Plapp is not an awful descender but just plain average. he can usually follow a group of 20 or 30 on a descent, but if he is by himself he is slow.

Plapp was in that group earlier (when the broadcast started). I think he just called it quits

I only asked a question about today. I dont know.

However, I dont think he is a good descender and has seen him lose ground multiple times on descents.
