‚It wouldn‘t have happened 20 years ago that sprinters would have a chance getting over these climbs‘- commentators at CRO Race. I know zero sprinters ever who would get over 3.5k 11% with the GC riders

As the WT teams have taken over at the front of the race and Magnier is 5 and a half minutes back, I think we can rule out another win for him today.

I am watching the Giro and i am thinking that technically most racers that drive in front should be disqualified (like van Schip in Baloise). Why ?
2.2.025 Riders must observe the standard position as defined by article 1.3.008. Sitting on the
bicycle’s top tube is prohibited. Furthermore, using the forearms as a point of support on
the handlebar is prohibited except in time trials.
and
1.3.008 The rider shall normally assume a sitting position on the bicycle. This position requires
that the only points of support are the following: the feet on the pedals, the hands on the
handlebars and the seat on the saddle.
So hands on the horns and forearms on the handlebar (behind the wrist is the start of the forearm) is illegal. Not that I really want them disqualified but rules should be applied equally. Or ?

McNulty dropping everyody in Croatia. Omrzel chasing with Zana.
Daily reminder the 2006 class of climbers is just something else.

I think you have a weird interpretation of handlebar.

McNulty barring an accident should wrap this up. Omrzel giving another "Pogi clone" impression.

As expected, but as predictable as it was, it was still a very nice stage. Beautiful too.

LET'S GO, NUGGETS!

McNutly has earned the right to be the undisputed giro leader next year!! He must get full support from De Toro, V$ne, Almida and Adam Yates!!!

Much prefer that these stages finish on top of the climb, so, we avoid group 2 syndrome.

Well, everyone knows - or should know by now - that Abrahamsen is not the guy you want to give any gap.

Merlier down...
