Commences at 13:30 (local) and with some damn good TT'ers involved, this could be a pertty tight battle for the stage.

Last rider to start is Soderqvist at 15:18.

Also everybody gets a chance to review the modern day engineering mable : The gate mechanism at the ramp...

Some exceptional win farming by Magnier this second half of the season. Kinda wish he just comittied to it from the start of the season instead of doing actual races just to show how ridicously easy it is for sprinters to win if all they care for is the win total. The consistency is pretty remarkable still though!

I don't think many other riders could have done the same as what he has the last few weeks.

Jaaa heerlijk. Lekker fietsen in Brabant! 🇳🇱🚴

is this start gate more than a gimmick at all? There's a timing line at the bottom of the ramp, so I guess times are taken from there anyway?

And UCI rules allow a 5s window to start and still get your "real" time. So I'm honestly not sure what it's supposed to add to begin with.

I think it's to distract from the fact that the times they initially display are wrong and get corrected after a moment.
