Definitely Carlos is not used to sprinting. He looked strong and should have ridden harder the last 2 kilometers or started the sprint on the last 250 meters. With his size he could not outmaneuver Ricci on the curves going to the last 150 meters. The smaller rider is more nimble. On the straight, he almost caught up though but he ran out of road. Not sharing the pull has really worked in favor of Ricci and it's a part of racing.
