*** Christen strikes again.

And instead of riding back to check on van Gils he goes to celebrate with Wellens.

I need to see the overhead first to really judge.

But this isn't a bunchsprint, you see Christen going to the left cause Pidcock is there, then it's weird to try to pass him on the left

You cant go to a wheel from a rider who is close to the barrier if there is a rider between you and the barrier.

Simple as that. But the fact that he doesnt seem concerned about his colleague shows even more what a douche this guy is.

Hope he is red-carded and suspended for the whole van Gils injury period.

It's a dumb sprint from both. How do you not see that coming if youre Van Gils?
Christen probably doesn't even know Van Gils is besides him cause normally no one would try to go that way in a sprint like that. Christen clearly looks towards Pidcock and tries to get to his wheel. DQ according to rules cause he endangers someone obviously, but not a super weird move imo, a bit reckless. And unlucky that Van Gils loses his balance there, touch was minimal. Hopefully he's somewhat ok.

Closed him a little bit too much. He fell after touching that border because the gap was suddenly too small.

If he had more speed and was more in front he could move to Pidcock’s wheel. Not when there’s still a rider next to you.

Van Gils saw it coming, brakes at the right time but that border hit his back wheel too hard. Otherwise he stayed upright and he could complain and switch places in the end.
