I counted 2: A solo mistake just before a cobbles section. Soft landing in a ditch with grass. A crash in a corner in the last 10 kms or so taking out 3-4 riders.

Why did all the Lidl-Trek riders finish behind the group by the way, what happened to them?

Maybe they were caught up behind the crash in that left hand corner not far from the finish.

We have a group of fastmen involved each with a significant tally of wins, but these days finding wins are much tougher:
Jacobsen, Ackermann, Bennett, Dylan.

Headwind towards Koksijde also, so probably just a boring bunch sprint this year. Bit sad, cause last 2 years this one was pretty entertaining. Weather is just too good in Belgium right now. If only we had the weather from a week ago.

It's early, but for now more changeable weather expected next week.
