2 wins in a row for Decathlon's Gautherat - it looked worse from head-on but it looked like he was way in front of the others when he went to the right.

He goes from the middle of the road to the complete right, there are no excuses.

Back to 16th for Gautherat and a win for Kern Pharma instead! Guys have got away with worse so good to see some decisive decison making by the race authority.

Strong group (Tiberi, Bennett, Van Eetvelt, Romo ...) attacked in Indurain, but no Cofidis and especially Astana so probably doomed.

And then Van Eetvelt attacks, only Bennett can follow. I get that he just wants to race after all his bad luck but that's a dumb move.

Big strong group gone in Indurain. Simmons, Omrzel, Alvarez, Ulissi, Sweeny, Zimmermann, Izagirre, ... Most big teams in there. Movistar missed it and are riding behind (getting help from Caja now too), gap is 30s. No perfect cooperation in front tho.

Red Bull and Tudor missed it too, riding now. So peloton will probably come back.
