Romeo could easily have been in the top 10, if he had ridden full after the bike change, instead of bitching on the radio and looking like he gave up

You can take the man out of Portugal, but not the Portugal out of the man. Well done, Julius.

If we get to see Robo Reis in this stage, the GC will still be his.

Johansen continuing the Danish tradition of having at least one* stage win in O Gran Camino.

*Some years, it has been slightly more than that.

I gotta say, putting 40 seconds into Yates on a 15K TT which includes a climb, is pretty remarkable

Btw, a fun fact: Johansen had the most race days of anyone on the WT last year.

So, Yates will be JJ's domestique? :tearsofjoy:

Danish cyclists never cease to amaze, they appear when you least expect them.

"Nobody expects the Danish domination."

Though, I think it's more likely we'll see a case of the leader's jersey - or rather, the man wearing the leader's jersey - pulling tomorrow.

The guy´s first place deserves respect. Until the mountain stage arrives, they should work for him.
40 seconds is a considerable difference and the field is weak.

This guy's case is strange. He seems to be the only one on UAE who has experienced a physical improvement this year, while the rest seem to have gotten worse in Volta and Itzulia Julius is flying :tearsofjoy:
