The horsie is incredible to watch on such a finish. Doesn't stress trying to move up into the first 3 wheels, sits back, attentive and relaxed, and when the final lead out man on the front pulls off 50m too soon, he jumps them all perfectly from behind as they hesitate in launching the spring. Perfectly timed.

He's similar in skill to Sagan, just much less flashy (some would say boring )

Well he has two issues. He rides too close to the front between 10 and 2kms to go and he refuses to use his team in the final. Tidy this up and then he may get some top tens or even top fives.

Bennett is coming from a long way back after heart surgery in the offseason. He was third in his previous race.
