Lesser known races thread 2022

I guess since his issues aren't race-related UCI can't really demand that he doesn't ride.
Correct, but Total could do the right thing choose not to field him anywhere, at least until there's a ruling on his case.
Not at all. It's unrelated to him racing, he should be treated as innocent until proven guilty, and from what I've read they are charging him with a suspended sentence, so that he can continue racing even if he is found guilty.

I don't think society is improved if all criminals are denied work unreleated to their crime.
Would you feel comfortable working with someone who's facing a trial for (allegedly) beating up his wife? Especially if you're a woman, or sharing a room with him at this race?

Yes, I think domestic violence is very unrelated to professional racing. I think the sentiment to exclude undesirable people reflects more about one's own feelings and management of one's reputation than any reasonable concern about recidivism.

Do you ever share the prevailing opinion on any subject?
Yes. Do you ever think there is a viable alternative to the current state of affairs? That anything can get significantly better than they are, while not likely to get so? Is TINA ever untrue? See, I can ask you unreasonable questions as well that I know the answer to.

Total won again in Rwanda, this time with a random french neo pro, if they continues this way we are going to see even Juraj Sagan performing somewhere outside of the national championship for the fifth* time in his life :D

*I remember him doing well only in a stage in Langkawi in 2016, the Zottegem stage in da Panne some weeks later, 2017 Gent when he actually helped his brother in the finale and the 2018 GP d'Argovie.

Restrepo's GC hopes got killed by sickness on today's stage, where Kent was the Main protagonist in the end.
Axel Laurance of B&B is now in the lead.

I'm kinda surprised that Budyak never got picked up by a PCT team. In the u23 ranks he finished the Course de la Paix inside the top 10 once and was 14th in the Tour de L'avenir before turning 20 and got a few wins when he raced for a Spanish amateur team in 2018, so it's not like he only got results while riding for an Eastern Euroopean CT team.
