They all think of getting in the top 10. You got 3 Visma’s in front, if they don’t let 2 of them attack and just wait to get beaten in a sprint again. But Wiebes is probably so much stronger so they don’t even try.

Its madness. There is no way wiebes should win this stage with the composition of the group. It's been a poor year for the women's peleton.

Wiebes could probably go solo here but she has a teammate who will control first. Veenhoven maybe has a chance if she didn’t contribute the last hour or so.

Make wiebes go solo. Teams have multiple riders and should be attacking non-stop for the last 30 or 40kms. This is a procession!

She’s gonna win every stage. Or is there some specialist (10km) TT rider in this race?

I don't get it, why do they keep riding with Wiebes to the finish line? She'll beat you every time.

Visma, three riders in the group, and they're working with SDWorx... I mean, Veenhoven is an okay sprinter, but nowhere close to Wiebes and also really bad at positioning, even in a small group like this as we've seen. You're here to win, aren't you. Attack!

Yeah, I don't get the lack of attacks either. Even Markus should have been allowed to try, cause surely it doesn't matter how many stages Wiebes wins.

You just don’t pull along when she’s there, let the peloton get back and wait for a new opportunity/echelon untill she misses one.

Now they all help equally and the winner is known. Try the numbers game.

Consonni with a good sprint but she had the outside of the last bend. Would’ve loved for her to take it against Wiebes.

Shari Bossuyt strong 3rd.

Liv with a better performance but lacks results. Baker should’ve done the leadout for Paternoster.

Liv have been disgraceful in this race. Missed the two splits and disappointing in the sprints.

Love the way Letizia and some teammates raced today. They tried to avoid a bunch sprint.
And she was on her own for the sprint after being caught late and still sprinted to 7th.

Actually the team should have done the same on stage four after their embarrassments in stage two and three. And they would have been better to go in groups of two or three.

Mieke Docx told me after the stage she still had a little headache from the crash but felt okay. Apparently she continued the race 60km left with a concussion. So she won’t start today.

Crazy how she fought back on her own after the crash and bike change. But knowing she had a concussion, I would’ve rather see her stop immediately for medical reasons.
Update: she had to stay in a dark room for a week. Tried some walking couple days ago and yesterday really easy hour on the indoor trainer.
Today she finally could go outside again. Happy she’s okay, I was a bit worried.

Kopecky's back to her winning ways in Ardèche. The field is obviously not as strong as in the bigger races, and the longer ITT will help her as well, but she will still have climb decently in order to win the GC.
