I looked away for a few seconds, and then they apparently reached the finish. Skalniak-Sójka added another victory to her growing palmares.

Yeah, I missed the finish too.
Probably didn't help that I was watching it on mute, prioritising the race over in France, French I can at least - somehow... - understand a little bit.

Interesting weather in Poland.
Those poor commentators, having to sit outside in the wind, but i guess at least they have some kind of covering, so their papers don't get wet.

Agnieszka Skalniak-Sójka made the hattrick and became the queen of Princess Anna Vasa Tour. She's now on 12 wins this season, only bettered by Wiebes. I'll be surprised if she doesn'tget a contract with a bigger team again soon.

She's definitely too strong for these smaller central/eastern European races, that's for sure. The fields aren't too strong here but she beat the likes of Mieke Kröger, Shari Bossuyt and Lizzie Holden in the Tour of Belgium.

When UCI points soon becomes important, some teams won't mind having a rider who can do well in non-WWT races,

Coop - Hitec lead out the sprint and Mari Hole Mohr won the first stage in Uppsala ahead of Eklund, I think.

Stine Borgli came second and Eklund third.

Okay, I understand why Vos and van Aert got paired; "same" team. Same with Mollema and van Dijk. But... why van Vleuten and van der Poel? No male Movistar riders available?

There are no Dutch or Belgian Movistar riders, and Van der Poel is almost as big a star as AVV.

I read the partial start list for the Postnord Vargarda TTT on Saturday - SD Worx with Majerus,Reusser,Vas, Blaak and Vollering should be competitive.

It looks very strong, but I'm not sure it'll be their final line-up. It also depends on the severity of Reusser's concussion.

Stage 2 of Uppsala live here:

Not much happening right now, but honestly... I'm kinda fine with that! I need something a bit calm now... if you watched either of the two major men's races today, you'll know why...
