Excellent head of hair for the winner today, Remco should do his like that, maybe his fortunes would turn around!!!

Adding an excessive amount of hair probably won't solve his alleged weight issues. One hair too many could break the camel's saddle.

Letting his hair and nails grow over the winter could however be a way for Pogačar to gain extra weight for PR without needing to go on a strict diet afterwards.

There are two early races today.

The Tre Valli Varesine returns with much better weather this year. It will be harder for Kerbaol to win in these conditions, especially since Vollering is there as well among others. She won't be able to borrow Nina Berton's bike either if she has a mechanical like last year. Pogačar vowed to ride the race again after what happened last year, and on a similar note, Brodie Chapman, who together with Grace Brown was (allegedly) snubbed by the commissaires when asking for the race to be called off (it wasn't clear how many riders supported them, to be fair), isn't on the start line this time around.

Charlotte Kool will be riding her first race for Fenix-Deceuninck at the Binche-Chimay-Binche, following the concussion she suffered at the Baloise Ladies Tour which made her abandon the Tour de France after the first stage. It will ber last race of the season and it doesn't sound like we should expect her to be there at the tail end or even make it to the finish. However, the team also has Christina Schweinberger who has finished second two years in a row. Uno-X have brought Anniina Ahtosalo who has finished third three times in a row, but this time it seems more likely that Linda Zanetti or Susanne Andersen will be their best bet. With Wiebes riding there shouldn't normally be much suspense regarding the victory, but every dog has its day.

How can you get surprised in the sprint if you only have 1 rider to focus on.

Yeah, I honestly thought ELB had started too early, but frustration seems to have got the better of Vollering. She could have allowed G2 to come back when she realised she couldn't break ELB, but with Gasparrini winning the sprint for third it probably wouldn't have helped FDJ.

Actually it was Rüegg who won the sprint behind. I also thought so, too, but FC said Gasparrini,
