how badly hurt is Caroline Andersson in the crash in ronde van vlaanderen 2026? I see that her whole schedule is wiped

At least we can get an interesting sprint final in the Schelderprijs, because Wiebes is not racing.
But this is probably the only thing we can get excited about it.

Amalie Dideriksen wins in Pays de la Loire.

Florien Bolks (VolkerWessels) in 4th. I'm happy for her, but of course I would have preferred a podium 🙂

Fenix and Kool get it right. A nasty crash (I call it El Crashico for a reason) made it easier to move through the peloton for those that were left.

van der Breggen might be disqualified in De Brabantse Pijl because of illegal bike riding when she close the gap to the front.

With some much experience I cant understand why she did this.

What did she do? I’m on the parcours so can’t see everything. Riding from hill to hill every lap.

Looks like she’s gone for the win already.

I seem to recall Carapaz being DQed by a moto after Roche aux Faucons in LBL, for either hands over bars or sitting on top tube. He did it, immediately reminded himself it was illegal and changed position, shaking his head. The moto pulled up and DQed him

FDJ seems very dominant this year.
It seems every team where she goes, is dominant. Maybe last year they had all to adampt to their new roles and this year we see the outcome. The big question is, can Vollering win the Tour this year? Because without winning the Tour, it would be good year but not a very good year.

If FDJ continue in this form they will have had an excellent race, despite, any result in the TDF.

@yaco
Paternoster was really disappointed after the race. Went straight to the team car while all the others stayed with the soigneur. She was boxed in and almost saw her crash in the sprint right before my eyes. 8th is a solid result here, last year she got dropped in the last km. Think she had to legs to podium at least, hence the disappointment. Was always good in front on the climbs. She had a 5’ mental talk with a coach but still seemed not happy with her result going into the team bus.

She has been in decent form all year. The team rode really well in support, however, Liv need to ride a program that will give her a better chance of achieving wins. The team is a bit hamstrung for this block of racing with Smulders and Anderson injured BUT you battle on.
