I have no sympathy for Levi, especially when it seems he is still "stretching" the truth with regard to when he stopped doping. I wish I could see some sort of reason for Lefevere commending then firing him that didn't smell of Omerta.
Maybe it was not, maybe just a good excuse to free up some more money to hire Cavendish.

Couldn't have said it better. When these guys spill the beans, firing them is exactly the wrong signal to send. Unless of course the signal you intend to send is that if you open your trap you're gone. That signal comes through loud and clear.

that's one view...and maybe it is correct...but another one is take dope, get caught, spill the beans after being forced to testify...whatever...take dope and you are done and gone...that is another view...do I think that is strictly Omega's attitude? No I don't////but I don't think they fired him to send a message to shut up about doping either...my guess is the sponser simply wanted him gone...they are a drug company...
