Not sure he meant it in a disrespectful way.
Probably just saying it would be easier to cope with if the winner was somebody with a bigger palmares.

Pourquoi? A guy who's won Strade Bianche, was on the edges of the top 10 in Amstel and Flèche and was in the top 25 at de Ronde, and in the past has been 4th in Tirreno, 8th in Sanremo, 8th in de Ronde, 7th in Gent-Wevelgem, podiumed E3, top 10ed Romandie and been the last domestique for Contador in the 2008 Giro...
This is several levels above that though. Dropping Rodriguez and Nibali like flies. But it's silly to call it suspicious just because someone is a lot better than before. Nobody though Gerrans was suspicious this year either.

Congratulations Iglinskiy.

Great effort Nibali.

Europcar should've put Rolland on the front to chase.

So we could have foreseen Astana's domination...

As I said, suspicious.

argh life can really sucks some times you know:(
Really disappointing, Gilbert just didn't have it today. His form was just no there. Hopefully in the next two years there would be nothing that would hinder his spring campaign this year. Its not the end of the road for Gilbert this year still GdL, tour and worlds. Hopefully he can save his season today.
Had such high expectations for today, was thinking about this race for a long time, guess Im wrong.
Chapeau to Astana they are just great there is still vino in astana.

very hard to be optimistic now, but at least I still can look forward to the giro and romandie. TJVG looks great for romandie and california. I believe he can win Romandie but evans will probably be leader.

How does a rider get a bigger palmares?

But it's not like he's a total scrub.

This is only as suspicious as Gerrans has been - previously pretty reasonable guy who had accumulated some pretty good results without really threatening victory finds himself with a perfect opportunity (and some favourites underperforming). If you're suspicious of Gerrans, then fine, be suspicious of Iglinskiy.

On the out of nowhere scale it's about a 0.08 Froome.

Max is da Man

Why is Gilbert removing his nose strip immediately after crossing the line?

He's got bigger things to think about.
