What impresses me the most is that Tadej could've won every single freakin Monument since the start of the year if not for an incredible MVDP (I don't honestly consider the Amstel because he was just recovering from the hard fought Paris Roubaix).

With normal trainings yes. You don’t start your first month doing 6 hour rides.

Yeah maybe a little bit. But it felt like questioning me while I was just translating what he said. Because everyone was waiting for an excuse of Remco.

Other teams never really believed they could win, they rode for 2nd and 3rd even if they won't admit it.

UAE completely dictated the race, no other team tried to change what was going to be the inevitable.

Maybe Soudal Quick-Step had some hope, but that wanished brutally.

Pogačar again, in his terrain he simply doesn't miss, the way he attacked up La Redoute without barely any effort was incredible. Third Liège win and ninth monument win, absolutely insane stats at 26 years old.

Trek with a great collective performance, three riders in top6, Ciccone is looking in great shape and Nys had surprisingly his best result in his Ardennes campaign.

Happy to see Healy getting into a monument podium, he always puts on a show and rode really well today. Velasco with a great fourth place getting precious points for Astana. Nice to see Verstrynge arriving into the chasing group too.

Regarding Remco, he didn't have good legs today but the way he just switched off on Roche Aux Faucons is concerning. Hope that he can stay strong mentally and use the month of May to build his shape towards the Tour and Worlds because right now he is looking still far from his best.
