Red Bull train odds-on for being on the front when the broadcast starts, for who else is going to chase the threatening break of Mathis Le Berre and that speed skater from Tudor down.

I am not sure Rondel will be riding this race, and Jasch can't unless he gets promoted right away which would require that someone gets demoted.

That’s a really weak team, but I think the likes of RBH and Decathlon will help them, unfortunately. Otherwise we could’ve gotten an exciting chaotic race if there wasn’t anyone to properly control it
I think they will too. They will both want to control early attacks and then see if Remco/ Seixas can stick with Pog on Redoute.

UAE doesn't seem strong enough to suffocate the competition and control the race until Redoute.
Maybe Pogi will attack earlier then? (possibly together with Evenepoel and Seixas initially). Stockeu followed by Haute Levee is a good combo. We could have the longest finale in recent LBL history.

I think the chance that someone can hang on on La Redoute is there. I think Pogacar would win regardless but it would be a nice change if this is not again a race decided within 1 minute.

On another note, I've recently been thinking about how long it's been since certain races have had a good or great edition. And as much as we like to complain about 2020's cycling I think with almost any big race it's actually not been that long. And then there is LBL and I gotta admit, I don't think I've seen a great edition of that race once. I'm not even sure I've seen a good one. For reference the first edition I've watched was 2013 and I think I haven't missed one since. So if I remember everything correctly 2013-2017 were all decided after Saint Nicolas, 2018 was essentiall over once Jungels had a gap, 2019-2021 had no significant action before RaF and we've had La Redoute solos since. Maybe Evenepoels first win was a good race because iirc it wasn't clear he could stay away for a while after La Redoute. I guess 2021 was alright. But like genuinely good? I think you have to go back further than 2013 and that's honestly very sad.

They are not the only team to control. anyway they have an strong team, with 2 man of the Tour Team, plus the 4th on Huy yesterday.

Would be nice, but then we’ll get those two also taking turns with Pogacar which is dumb. Evenepoel’s ego is too big not to take equal turns. Seixas on the other hand might not help like last years UEC RR, but I think he’ll be too eager.

Evenepoel has an alpha mentality, he won't just suck Pogacar's wheel for the whole race. Seixas will be helping as well until he cooks himself (he's most likely to end up like that) .

2011 was a fun edition.

That edition where Lance attacked with one of the Basque guys was decent, maybe Mayo or Sanchez. Yeah that’s all I have sorry. Ciciban race.

Maybe Seixas has a DS like Voeckler that yells “do not ride” over and over again. It got him his bronze medal last year
