Yes it needs to balloon further to 5 minutes, but it seems to be coming down. they'll slowly reel them back.
And Pogacar and Seixas will be fresher than a riding Remco.
As i would prefer a Remco win, i hope G2 fails to organise and let UAE ride alone. But they are organising as we speak with Decathlon helping.

Not true. I'm thinking of maxing my win percentage. I rather be riding against remco than Pogacar.
And I rather face up against Remco alone than against Remco, Seixas and Pogacar.
That's not true. Pidcock has been criticized on this forum for trying to reach a two-sprint and being so close to winning... and now a top 10 is better than try to winning Milan-San Remo in a sprint?

The RBH riders in G2 could help Remco if G1 is caught.

If these riders really have a chance against Evenepoel, then he is the most overrated rider in cycling. Easily.
They are racing for second. And that, of course, is okay.
if you only care about first you should also ride at this point

getting caught by the peloton doesnt make you more likely to win

Yes cause it's better to ride versus remco alone than it is to ride against Remco, Pogacar and Seixas together.

Not true. Else Pogacar and remco head-to-head would be closer even without the injuries.
You have a better chance against remco. Maybe not much, but better.

Pidcock was having a better chance against Pogacar than against a full peloton, but you were defending a theory that he shouldn't work.
Following this narrative all the teams should leave Red Bull (and UAE/Decathlon) to destroy themselves in relentless chase and attack later ?

Absolutely. Pidcock was one sprint away from winning MSR but he was harshly criticized.s, and now those same people are talking about an ambitious top 10 finish :tearsofjoy:

Nah, as i said, it's better to face up against Remco alone, than against 3 supernova's.
Especially since G1 is big meaning someone like Hermans would only need to soft pull whilst his teammate actually pulls.

The hilarity of pretending it all works the same in Sanremo vs Liege.
