If the names of the protagonists were reversed, those who are liking your message would clearly have said it the other way around in both races :tearsofjoy:

Not really. This race had three major protagonists before the start: Pog (fav), Evenepoel (2x former winner) and Seixas (new phenomeno). Seeing the race properly underway and the battle on so early is a good thing.

It would be the same if the roles were reversed. But this is the best scenario though because of just how massively favored Pog was. It's his race to lose and so far he's in a bad place.

But Pidcock/Pogacar were never really in a big gambling position either.
At this point, the other teams are in a very decent gambling position . They could stop and see Red Bull's reaction. If Red Bull continue working, they won. If they stop, you start working again and you probably drop 20-30 seconds.
I think that's a gamble you can take.

But then again, either action by the other teams won't be wrong in this situation. Unless they stop totally, regardless of what Red Bull does. That would be stupid.
I think it would be a mistake to lose 30s for the purpose of testing Bora. Instead burn the support riders, they won't be of any use past 170 kms anyway. From there try and hang on to Remco

Liege hasn't been interesting before La Redoute for like 20 years now. Now something happens and people be crying about no broadcast from the start.
Yes because the race dynamics has changed. The first hour is typically entertaining. They should know that what happened today was a realistic scenario.

So you assume Red Bull would stop?
I assume red Bull will get caught if they do not get help.
Whilst i assumed Pogacar would always stay away from the finish.

You are better off doing less work but working with Remco, facing up against a tired remco
Then allow G2 back and face off vs a fresh Pogacar and Seixas.

What if Red Bull continue riding?
Then you have the 3 biggest teams wrecked before the hills start.

We could potentially see the last 60-80k or so turn into a Pog/Seixas vs Remco pursuit; that might be pretty interesting. At some point the best are going to have to launch from their groups...

Why would Pogacar and Sexias be fresher Remco will not work in G1? When they catch up ( I believe they will) the Red Bull and Ineos domestics will have had a free ride. This will make the race much more difficult from la redout onwards. Pogacar is still the favorite buy margins but not as much
Cause at some point people like De Plus will stop working and make Remco work to tire him out and have a chance against him

OMG😳😳..I just came to give a short ride with my bike and I see Remco in a break? How has been possible? I hope he dont pull, I would prefer to have a face ro face at the end..but if he pull this break could get 5 minutes and maybe no possible to Chase

Was this a response for me in regards of the chances to win the race?
yes.
If they ride smart and Remco not so much. Of which there is a very good chance.
I also like Vandenbroeck. Just not sure if he is strong enough.
But his ride in the TdF (last year?) was great.
