Incredible! I just came home and read what's going on. How is it possible that Pogacar's part of the peleton lost so much time? Not enough horsepower? Evenepoel in the first peleton is huge news, no matter the distance remaining. I felt we would have a long finale but not 250 km long!

You arrived just in time for live pictures. Why the gap got so huge is a bit of a mystery hidden from our eyes.
