Big chance for Evenepoel: he's not just in some breakaway but in 1/3 of the peleton with helpers. UAE can't reduce the gap for a reason. If Remco starts the finale (i.e. last 80 km containing a lot of climbs) with a significant gap (1-1.5 minutes over Pogacar group) it should be enough in mano-a-mano or small group vs small group duel.

Interesting live interview on Belgian TV with Lodewyck in the team car for RedBull. Evenepoel kind of by coincidence in front group. This scenario was not planned. They are going to try to make the best of the current situation. He would have preferred an extra Red Bull rider in G1 to make more sure that Evenepoel does not waste any energy in G1.

Don't forget how incredible solo rider Evenepoel is. Even 1-1.5 minutes would be a lot. It doesn't look good for the 2nd peleton given how stable the gap is.
