I think every other team has played it perfectly so far. Pogacar may have won every race with a hill he has entered for the past three years, normally solo, but it's no guarantee he will do it again today

Decathlon (and Red Bull at times) remind me of that bit in Arrested Development about open relationships' effectiveness.

"Did [letting UAE dictate the pace according to their plan without trying to disrupt] work for them?

No, it never does. I mean, these people somehow delude themselves into thinking it might, but … But it might work for us."

i think decathlon helped too much

until haussire was fine
I'm being sarcastic. People keep acting as if there's two or three favourites to these races when in actual fact there's One. If you don't race against Pogacar and disrupt his race, you will not win.

If UAE would have burnt all their doms by now, we would have had an interesting race with attacks etc. Now they just have enough manpower to survive until Redoute, unless someone breaks open the race big time on the Maquisard.

i still think it was fine to help in the beginning , but if they could manage it so that evenepoel had about a minute up the road now that would be close to perfect
