Historically Evenepoel has climbed far better on this sort of terrain than in the real mountains, of which Catalunya had plenty this year. Not the case right now.

I don't think he's ever been good in Liege when he's also been climbing at the level he was in Feb/March. Even after his 2022 Tirreno issues, he came back strong in Itzulia. UAE was like Tirreno, and then Catalunya was still like that year's Tirreno.
