I got why Evenepoel was riding hard to catch Skjelmose, but I have no clue why he keeps doing it after catching him?

Logic is your friend was right all along, anorexico was his best form, unless he plans on going full Ronnie Coleman. This inbetween shape does nothing, besides he should've stayed at Mapei, you only get really good at Redbull if you turn up with a nice shirt and tie and a CV in hand, knocking on the back door asking for a job interview after being involved in some obscure winter sport.

We mock Evenepoel, but he was right that Seixas' engine drops in the last bit of long races. As can be expected, he's 19 and this is the third time he's raced this distance
Few would have thought Seixas' engine was able to keep up with Pog for so long.
Anyone and Remco in the peloton would want to have Seixas' engine even if it drops like that.

If remco wants to perform in the TdF he'll need to start doing nothing but climbing, climbing, cimbing next 2 months.
That and get a tad slimmer.
