We've seen young riders regress. It's not detatched from reality to keep in mind that continued improvements are not certain for Seixas.

For being the 20th best uphill still getting the expected podium spot. After some frustrations he probably will be happy with this 3rd place.

And some random Belgian farmer in 4th.
Happy for the podium in the race he's won twice (and after that terrible performance in the decisive moment)?

The interviewer asked Pogacar about Remco in the breakaway.
Well, after today Remco will be given freedom in breakaways. Haha

So do you think he could have won if he got those decisions correct?
Results oriented thinking as if a lottery winner is a genius and those that lose their ticket price made a dumb decision.

It's sad to see this is the level of discourse cycling is sinking to

I hope complaining about people being right online and implying their lives are bad is not projection and your life is amazing.
I just tire of the same people whose sum total of contributions can be summed up to the same thing in every race.

(Soft pulling with Pogacar didn't help but certainly wasn't decisive when you lose 30 seconds in 500m).

I think Verstrynge and Bernal coming 4-5 takes a bit of shine away from the Remco sprint...
Yeah, but he led it out and nobody got ahead of his back wheel. His sprinting form is better than ever, and I'd imagine his TT is similar. His climbing is what we've seen all year

lol Remco says he wants to be Pogacar but the evidence shows he wants to be Ganna. I’d say Wout but I think peak Wout smokes current Remco on climbs. There just seems to be a disconnect between the rider he currently seems to be, the direction of the improvements he is showing, and the things he is saying.

I guess consider me in the camp of thinking he should go all in on classics. Very tough competition in Pogacar, MVDP, Wout, Seixas, but it seems to suit him more than the Tour.
