Still a bit extreme how much the peloton seems to have given in to their faith this year. Why really not try an organized chase once, instead of Healy energy bouts.

This is a good monument. The problem is we never get all the top 6 fighting each other. At least it's a shame Remco and roglic are not there.
Yeah, it's really crazy how we've had two years in a row with only one major contender here. Really kills the race.

2020s cycling with all the crashes kinda sucks. Every season there's plenty of food for the 'battles we never got to see' thread.

Because Pogacar is way better than them. I don't know how people don't understand this. It is like Manchester City against Coventry
And at times, Manchester City also draws against Coventry. But for that Coventry has to try and not choose to not tackle.

Kinda sorta, but aerodynamic drag changes the, erm, equation somewhat. Stars should not be able to just ride away. They must be a couple levels above when they do.

I still get surprised when Bardet is there in the main action of a one-day race—but I know he’s been doing that for many years.
