You say that but they've got two planes and a chopper following the men's race at the moment. Flightradar24

Some riders are using their social media now to address this. Only around 30km live for this race. Hope this will get something going for the next big races.
Well highlighting thats it not acceptable, i dont think it gets addressed till organisations simply do better for womens cycling.

I say this every race to myself. But then I think they have to fill u the helicopter and motos again. Let them catch the women race maybe through the normal traffic or going against the route untill they find the groups.

But for the Ronde they had 2 live feeds at the same time. Don’t know why they can’t do it every time like this, probably money. But now I know it’s possible, just a shame they don’t do it for every monument or bigger race.
Flanders Classics organised and covered - albeit on a limited basis - the women's Ronde before there were obligations.

ASO organised La Flèche Wallonne and didn't broadcast a second of it until it was made compulsory by the UCI, and spent their time threatening to sue organisers of women's stage races in France if they dared to have a yellow leader's jersey.

This is just ASO regression to the mean. The only thing that's surprising is that they've done this as soon as they've got their French winner of the big French race.

Also, the UCI punished the Giro Donne for failing to meet its broadcast criterias, then chose not to punish the Women's Tour (of Britain) for the same offence. If they don't have the guts to challenge SweetSpot for failing to meet their obligations, what chance have ASO got of facing consequence?

They should all ride at 25kph as a statement so they have more coverage in the final. And go way beyond the schedule so they will maybe change something.

It's like the early 2010s when following Manel Lacambra and Anton Vos on Twitter was the best way to know what was going on in any given race... obviously not, because we will actually get coverage in the end, but still.

Mind you, in the early 2010s it wasn't that different to what we are now getting, i.e. watching the last hour of the race and finding out from live tickers what happened beforehand, watching men's races, we don't know how good we have it nowadays.

Lets see if FDJ have learned anything from watching UAE and Pogacar dominate these races when being the favorite. Would be surprised if they had

But still infuriating when organisers prioritise podium ceremonies over live images.

Not showing podium ceremonies is also disrespectful.

Which is why they should wait until after all the racing has finished to have the podium ceremonies.
Despite the idiocy of moving Paris-Roubaix Femmes to Sunday, at least ASO had the brains to wait until after the women's race had finished with the podium ceremonies for those race.

Yesss 46km! What are we complaining about.

The time they wasted. I doubt they needed an hour to get ready to show the women's race.

Not a bad situation for FDJ, but either the gap shouldn't grow too much or Chabbey and Berthet will have to be the strongest in the break. I wouldn't want to reach RaF next to Holmgren.
