Anyone see the pic of Wigans at Fleche. Looking like his exclusive rice cake diet, TM, is bearing dividends.

He looks strong/light, LOL!

someday...someday....these races will be live on American TV, won't they?

My video's been bit splotchy but I've got ESUK audio

What we really need is a Wii cycling channel so I can see great big pixels on the big screen

If Cancellara was here he'd attack now and it would be over.

From Velonews:

"Andrei Tchmil says Katusha has "three cards to play - Kolobnev, Ivanov and Joaquin Rodriguez. Joaquin can win Liege. He's on great form right now and his second place at Fleche proved it. My big favorite to win is Philippe Gilbert. After you saw what he did in Amstel you realize how strong he is right now. But in cycling, you never know what's going to happen. That's what makes this sport so beautiful."

It will still be a couple of years of technological evolution. When standards exist for streamed video to connect to today's tv's, we may be better off. Or maybe not.

TV is integrating streamed video, but the quality of the feed is still not good and everyone is not playing well together as yet.

And of course cycling is the poor relation of sports viewing here in the US. So the technology will have to trickle down from the cash cows.

IOW, Yes to your question, but don't hold your breath waiting.

I don't care what Farrar says, my wife says Transitions are useless for the most part. They just don't work that well.

I'm told they never go completely clear, so you can't see right and you look like a jackass.

They'd probably sell more with an advertisement of Gesink saying "I never use Transitions"

I get Netflix movies over my Wii onto my TV, it's very very good. So good I would give up getting the DVDs in the mail completely if every movie was available on demand.

Meanwhile, back to my hunches I will predict that none of the "big favorites" will win.
