Is it too late to give the Olympics to Paris?

This is a right joke.

London welcomes the world to the Corporate Olympiad. Everyone is welcome. But not the people who actually live and work in London. You people are scum and we do not want you going near our shiny new venues. Don't even look at them!

Seb Coe, what have you done!!

Chillax.

Nothing but good news so far; my Sunday morning walk to church was glorious - normally tripping over gormless tourists but London was a ghost town this weekend.

Same would occur in many a city nowadays, for those who looked at Beijing and saw a functioning city I suggest looking a bit closer and you would see what really was and is going on in that city.

Beach volleyballers might cover up for Olympics
on the horizon there is a storm (or, simply put, English weather), and it could cause volleyball players to bundle up in the equivalent of long underwear instead of bathing suits. The forecast calls for highs in the 60s early next week, with up to a 30 percent chance of rain. When you factor in night matches, that's not exactly bikini weather. Some beach volleyball players are ready to take precaution.

I live and work in central London - Whereabouts do you live and work?

Any other Londoners thinking of attending the road races? I was thinking planning on heading down to the Mall. I might not see much, but I was thinking I could hang around and go autograph hunting after the race. Think this will be possible? I would suggest a meet up but the crowds are gonna be maniac.

Wow, well done Britain, first day and already f'king it up!

North Korea's game delayed after South Korea's flag shown.

Would be surprised if this was a genuine error, more likely some **** trying to make a point but either way great start to the 'non-political' games. :D

I live and work in EC4, which is the most central postcode there is.

My Sunday morning stroll down the Strand was gloriously quiet.

Olympic Torch pops past my door tomorrow, but fortunately I will be in work by then.

It appears that like yourself, this was a London error.

"the video package was sent from London and Hampden organisers had no input."

Calm down dearest - it was pretty obvious nothing would actually have been entrusted to Scots, I was just playing with a meme.
