Sure, if my health insurance will cover a visit to Dr. Ferrari.
Good to see that ol' Polisher is consistant and defends all dopers.
Well,except for Contador anyway.

To be sure, I love people growing old naturally and not masking it in any way.
I've never understood the botox culture and never will.

Freddythefrog said:Loving it ! How old is he - 60 ? Got to be up there with Rumsas - wife states car full of epo was for her personal use - husband cyclist, no he never touches the stuff - and the late Vandenbroucke - the EPO is for FIDO, he is not well !
Longo - Confirmed,
Pitel - not on the scene long enough for usage to be confirmed.
What was going through Ciprelli's head as he thought about popping the question?
If I ask her if she wants some epo, she is going to ask me if longo uses it. If I say "no", she will say - why the hell do you ask me if I want it then, am I rubbish by comparrision to the great Jeannie ? If I say "yes", she can put me and Jeannie in the papers any day she wants. How is that going to play out in our relationship in the comming months. Great if he has no plans for ever getting back with Jeannie, but if he was two timing, not a chance in hell he was going to leave somebody with a lighted torch standing by his wooden bridges, with him on the far side.
The only way would be if she asks first and he denies ever supplying Longo. Not likely.
Joe have you heard anything from Ciprelli's lawer -
".....In a statement made by his lawyer, Bruno Ravaz, Ciprelli accused the newspaper L'Equipe of having faked the documents in which the purchase of 80,000 iu of EPO is being discussed.
"Patrice Ciprelli formally denies any implication. To him, they are crude fakes and so he may resort to filing suit in this affair," said the statement
or does Ciprelli use the same legal office as the UCI in their claims on Landis. You couldn't make it up.

WildspokeJoe said:Patrice Ciprelli, the trainer and husband of legendary French cyclist Jeannie Longo-Ciprelli, has reportedly confessed to purchasing the blood-boosting hormone Erythropoietin (EPO) in 2010 and 2011 on L'ÉquipeTV, but contended the drug "was for his own, personal use".
So sad. Why even pretend? Is anyone even remotely going to believe him?
I think it tarnishes Longo's legacy even more.
I think that's worse than no comment.
But as all these verdicts, revelations etc hit the ether, it proves to me that real culprit is the sport itself.
And I think it is impossible to solve.
Cycling will always be a dirty sport and people will cheat because that's how it's always been done.
Le breton said:According to rumours I've heard from somebody who is actually in very good terms with Longo, her and Ciprelli have gotten back together only very recently, so that the EPO purchase (2010-2011) would have been made at a time when they lived apart. Which would make it less unlikely that the EPO was not for Jeannie.
Or maybe he got tired of always getting dropped when they rode together![]()

Freddythefrog said:...This is the same lawyer that comically suggested that Joe made up a series of fake emails and presented them to the Feds. The concept being that fake emails and a "fabricated" financial trail (how do you fake interbank transactions ! - when you find out - sell the method to the Mafia !) implicating Ciprelli would deflect criticism of himself. They then made threats that they were going to sue Joe...
joe_papp said:Yes the claim that I fabricated incriminating evidence against myself, which I then planted for the USGOVT to find and use against me - just to then be able to smear Ciprelli/Longo (!!!) - defies credulity. Perhaps they believe they are the center of the cycling world so all scandals must necessarily orbit around them.
