looking for a heart rate zone alarm app (have a Polar H10 monitor)

i recently purchased the Polar H10 (chest strap) heart rate monitor so I can train within a specific heart rate zone. I need an audible alarm when i go outside the zone, preferably an android phone app since i use my cycling app & gps on there, so i can adjust my power to a specific heart rate zone.
The Polar Beats apps doesn't provide this. I mean i can keep it on and watch the display of the heart rate but this is dangerous when cycling.
I would rather have something say too fast, too slow, or at least beep, so i can adjust my power. I prefer something with audible cues.
(I don't want to buy a watch for this when I have a smartphone and bluetooth heart monitor)
Can you help me with this, preferably point to an app that does what I'm looking for?
I've been using MayMyRide, it doesn't does this. Strava neither.
Thanks,
Chris

WhatsHeart

I have not used it but I just heard someone talking about it. The first review talks a bout the audible cues (same HRM as you). Only 3.7 out of 5 due to app interference issues.
I installed this app today & tried it: it works well! Just what I needed.
I was able to set a custom heart rate zone (upper & lower limits) and hear audible cues & set custom time intervals.
Now I can get audible cues for current heart rate and when I'm outside the preset zone.
Since the H10 monitor allows 2 bluetooth connections I can use this app for heart monitoring and I use the MapMyRide app for GPS, distance, average speed.
Thanks for your help.

Non-tech way is to find a song that you can sing while in the desired HR zone.
As a now 'old geezer', my favorite was BeachBoys 'Barbara Ann' !
Thanks, good backup for the tech, making sure you can still hold a conversation (or sing).
I'm an old geezer too at 57 and after some recent heart surgery to correct electrical issues in my heart I've been doing a lot of kms on the bike and enjoying it.
My cardio is now improved, with a resting heart rate of 50bpm, and now i'm looking to drop a lot of weight

In order to workout inside a specified heart rate zone, I recently bought the Polar H10 (chest strap) heart rate monitor. To be able to adapt my power to a specified heart rate zone, I need an audio alarm that sounds when I leave the zone. Ideally, this alarm will be an android phone app as I use my cycling app and gps on that device.
This feature is absent from the Polar Beats apps. While I can leave it on and keep an eye on the heart rate indicator, doing so is risky when cycling.
To alter my power, I would prefer anything to beep, say too fast, or say too slow. Something with audible signals is what I favour.

(I don't want to purchase a watch when I already have one.

I find it crazy that this isn't an option in the app! HRMs of the late '90s had zone alerts, why would they get rid of that feature?! You should contact Polar.

What wattometer are you using? Head unit or phone? How does it sync?

It can be difficult to directly correlate HR with WATTS . For a particular WATT value, your HR will gradually rise and then plateau for a while. As you become more tired the HR will likely rise further if you attempt to maintain the same WATTS.
