What level of bicycle maintenance do you perform?

I do most of my maintenance myself, although I take my bike in for service at the small shop I bought it almost religiously once a year, even though I have to bike 125 km to get there.

I voted for "Absolutely, I have a bitchin home workshop", but that only pertains to my own bikes. It may not pertain to yours.

My philosophy goes - if you're gonna ride it (and possibly put your well-being in danger), you might as well know this instrument inside and out.
