henao could even win this if he hasn't wasted too much energy. he's incredibly fast and valverde's sprint has been declining some

He's still been sprinting well Down Under, in Paris-Nice, and the Vuelta iirc.

I'm intrigued to see the lower placings given Swift was mentioned before.

Group of 14 behind they were saying.
Swift won the peloton sprint.

2. Sergio Henao (Sky)
3. Robert Gesink (Blanco)
4. Rui Costa (Movistar Team)
5. Ben Swift (Sky)
6. Przemyslaw Niemec (Lampre-Merida)
7. Bart De Clercq (Lotto-Belisol)
8. Tony Martin (Omega Pharma-Quick Step)
9. Pieter Weening (Orica-GreenEDGE)
10. Ian Bibby (Madison)

Swift on 5th

Surprised, however he did see himself as Frerire kinda of sprinter. Nice he showed he can get over the hills quite well here.

Sky will just have to decide who will win the Tour first: Geraint Thomas or Ben Swift?

Stannard, JTL should have a free role too, and what about Ian Bibby? He could be the next JTL.

I already expected that of bibby last year, but he didn't seem top ride so well last year

I was more serious about Bibby than about the other two.
He has somewhat similar results as JTL had in 2011, so why not? Although he's better in the hills and sprinting than pure climbing.

Any sort of 'tour style' overall competition or point here across each of the 'one day' races? Swift on course to top 10 every race (and win none).

He was quite unlucky yesterday, punctured at the wrong time. However seeing tomorrow's profile, being quite hard but should finish with bunch sprint, you'd have to fancy him for the win there.
