No idea if Langeveld has any ambitions in this race (I don't think he's done it before) or whether he's saving it for the weekend but I think he's capable of going close to winning. GreenEdge look the 2nd strongest team in the race

This is the same parcours as when Millar won. The first stage was quite selective so hopefully there won't be 60 riders in contention on Day 3

Langeveld only wants to ride the first 2 stages then he wants to quit. He's here for the last bit of 'training'

westra has every chance and is interesting, chav and kwia both interesting from omega. Also radioshack will not have posthuma so irizar is the real one i think has an outside chance to do well.

Durbridge has never ridden on cobblestones before, he may be a contender for the TT, but not for the race overall. And to win the TT he has to survive the 2,5 stages before - hard enough, as this is his first road race since Down Under.

That makes sense, I'd imagine adjusting to cobbles is quite the curve. I am interested to see him start competing in TTs against a pro field (not that the Aussie TT champs weren't, but I just mean in general races).

Another race ES showed last year that they seem to have dropped for this year, sad face.

Kwiatkowski was a beast at Dwars door Vlaanderen and E3. He CAN.

This is a Cancellara in the making. Mark my words.

Please don't jinx Kwiatkowski too Pisti. We need some good cyclist.

Chavanel was ill until few weeks ago so he might come a bit short, otherwise he would be my pick as well.

I think if he would get jinxed by the hype, he would already have felt it :)

He's very good though, and I agree that he's a great talent. He and Westra should battle it out here in Panne. Watch out for Van Keirsbulck who'll finish top 5 overall.

Are you sure Van Keirsbulck is good enough in the 15k TT? Isn't it a bit too long for him?

It probably is, I just want to be one of the first doing the hyping this time around. I think perhaps Ryo has influenced me ;)

It will be an interesting stage today with the showdown on Kruisberg / Kortekeer. The same route as two years ago:

15.4km to go: Kruisberg 1000m; 6.5%; max 9% (500m cobbled)
8.6km to go: Kortekeer 1000m; 6.4%; max 17.1%

This should make good selection.
