Deep down most bots know that sky are doping, otherwise they wouldn't bother to show up to the clinic in the first place.

The only reason I bring it up at all is that Mark L has landed (placed?) himself right in the middle of the latest little soap opera here. Since that means much of the attention is now directed towards him, I think it's a valid question.

It's annoying to me, but that's not particularly significant in the scheme of things. I am quite comfortable with the Ignore feature. I was just wondering if there was some sort of clever reasoning for it or not, because on the surface, it comes across as mostly idiotic.

Known as "Ellipses", when not used correctly, i.e. with the lack of three dots it generally refers to a person who wavers or can't make their mind up.

It's a natural occurrence from the brain to keyboard. Most likely ebandit doesn't actually believe what he is typing.

ebandit was banned almost right off the bat when he first joined. He joined in August 2012 and his first ban dates September 20th 2012. He was thought to be a sockpuppet of a returning member - I forgot which one though. I'm sure some people remember though, or you could find it if you searched through a few threads. Though it'd probably be a little more complicated seeing that ebandit deletes his posts. It'd also be interesting to know how he succeeded in proving that he was not a sockpuppet - could be helpful for this case. Unfortunately the mod at the time was palmerq, and he doesn't post here anymore.

Personally I think ebandit is just having a laugh with his posting style... and it sets him apart, which is maybe also part of his goal. There are also some other posters with a distinctive pattern, blutto for example. It's less pronounced but it's still a trademark posting style. People have been suspicious of him right from the start (probably due in big part to his posting style), I personally believe he is harmless.

That said were our friend's repeated references to Vickers yesterday an attempt to claim he himself was Vickers? My original suspicion of late 2014 ebandit hacker being Vickers stemmed largely from his incessant defense of vickers.
Firstly when I said Vickers was a banned troll he went ape **** saying that I was "dehumanizing" Vickers and laughably claimed that sockpuppetry isn't trolling.

He then went further and clearly took further attacks on mv's reputation very personally culminating in him saying Bickers was 10x the poster I was.

Yesterday he was trying to say he and not the spud where Vickers and therefore hog was wrong.

Whatever the story behind the troll account that mv was, I feel.more confident with every episode that I was right in my original claim that Vickers was neither Irish not a lawyer and both were attempts to lend respect and an illusion of impartiality to the account in the same manner Joachim used when he claimed.not to be British (later turned out he was)

I also think there is no chance he would be able to stop posting once he got permabanned. But luckily for him he figured out how to use different ip so there is no evidence against his newest accounts.

Vickers was outed in here as to his twitter handle. That twitter handle blocks me on twitter, i registered benotti69 on twitter but dont tweet. Only to avoid sockpuppetry.

Well, I think "Mark L's" response to me above should be considered confirmation of that. He's deliberately avoided answering my very simple question, all while injecting obfuscation and feigning defensiveness.

When I pointed the contradictions in his claim that he hadn't had previous, direct interaction with me, he cited my superior memory (or words to that effect) as his excuse.

I find his last response to me, in this thread, to be the most telling.

How anyone could think his posting style is anything other than a silly, little game—albeit a deliberate one—is beyond me.

The fact that he was banned shortly after his arrival here only proves the disruptive nature of his activity.
