Frank, I think, actually believes what he says. If it were as easy as he was just trying to sell something - I would have banned him when I had the chance. Almost did, but he would behave for a while, when asked - so it was more like a marriage that is "Too bad to stay, and too good to leave" 51% - 51% sort of thing. Frank is like an old friend of mine - a very rational, reasonable, intelligent person - until you find the edge they stand on - in my friend's case it is government conspiracies. Once they get on that razor edge - well - no longer rational, reasonable, etc to be nice about it. In Frank's case, it is the whole short crank, independent motion crank idea. He got star struck by the brilliance of it when the idea first burst into his skull, and has been blind to anything else in the picture ever since.
It's evidence based coaching now  Apparently more research is required before tailoring individual athlete's training program.

Frank is vortexing the entire fitness/form subforum.

It was fun for a while seeing how fast he would go chasing his tail round and round. Be you can only watch so many repeats of Happy Days before Fonzy jumping the shark gets boring.

Haven't seen anything new or original so blocked him. Life is better for it.

So he is having a go at evidence based coaching. Hmmmmm, I practice evidence based coaching. Having a go at Power Meters and Power Meter Training. Hmmmmm no power meter data to support his claims. Having a crack at science and scientific method. Hmmmm has nothing but, weaker than your average anecdote, stories to tell about his product.

I'm bored.

Hanging out for WKO+ 4.0, going to be awesome! Will post my experiences on fitness page if Frank's trolling hasn't seen everyone leave.

Sure there is Trolling ...

but then there is Drooling right coach?

Telling everyone that you don't troll and ratting on those you don't like is actually the true definition of trolling bro.

As the saying goes, if you have to tell us how drunk you are all the damn time you probably aren't.

So, how on earth did Amsterhammer not get banned for wishing a poster death? Considering the type of bans people have been getting for small offenses, I do not quite understand that one.

I rarely venture into the café but i see Susan already moderated that thread.

With no context as i didn't read the thread, i think he should have gotten a long ban but i will wait for Susan's feeback before making a decision, which could take a few days as she he will be away for the next couple of days.

I find it hard to believe he would post anything ban worthy. This needs an explanation.
I don't think I should quote the original post. Anyway "**** you" he said (not to me ;) ). Not nice is it.

So, saying Fok You, against a mod totally out of line, will get someone a ban?

I do think it is funny other moderators have to defend this kind of lunacy.

In theory, saying **** you to anyone will increase highly the chance to get banned. I thought this was common sense. I'm sure it's in the rules.

I don't think anyone really complains about that ban, it`s just one week, zam is on holiday anyway, he said "**** you" which obviously is not allowed, so who cares - the thing is, how did that happen?! If a moderator (allegedly) edited posts only for the reason that they did not fit with his opinion on the topic then that deserves a big "**** you" and a removal from his position.

So, again, will you guys look into that?

I didnae see the posts, do you know what was deleted search?

If he just removed 'offensive' comments and left all the content that was disagreeing with his opinion then that isn't so bad, if he also removed non offensive comments then that is bang out of line.

Of course that still leaves the issue that Berzin can be a wee bit offensive himself.
