I'm not going to make a fuss because of a 24h ban, but I want to clear something up regardless:

I did not wish death to any spectator, I choose my words carefully. Not to mention it's not my style. What I did say was that a certain 'fan' should have had his head kicked with cleats and then be thrown down a ravine. I did wish them pain, but surely not death. Might have deserved being deleted, but in my opinion is no worse than people making fun of Froome's despair running uphill. Just my two cents.

I said 'making fun', as in ridiculing him in public and taking joy in his misery. I couldn't care less what people do privately, everyone is free to laugh and there are reactions one cannot control. I was not referring to that.

And do you think that, come the hour, I'd really be cheering for someone to be stomped and puched down a chasm?

Well, the difference is, Froome didn't really get hurt. It sucked, yeah (and then it didn't really, GC-wise) but he wasn't physically hurt.

The only pain it would have cost him would have been if he actually lost the TDF because of it. Which was never going to happen because he's 10x stronger than everyone else and this has been evident for years.

I'm pretty sure a lot of the people who laughed ( I don't know if I would have laughed because i didn't watch the stage and heard about what happened before I saw it so the joke was spoilt for me), would not have done so if it happened in a tight race and threatened to actually cost someone a victory
