Did not expect this one from De Schuyteneer. He's fast, but I don't see him as bunch sprint winning fast. Bit lucky that Magnier was too far back ofcourse. De Schuyteneer was perfectly positioned behind TTT.

The level was high indeed.
To be fair there are a lot of riders still age eligible like Pelizarri/Del Toro/Christen/Uijtebroeks/L Martinez that have already moved beyond age group races. That goes a long way towards explaining a drop in top level.
Apparantly the level hasn't dropped because of talented 18 year olds entering the U23. The problem is that they are gone a year later so the talent pool is probably thinner than before.
With the way things currently are it would be more apt to have an under 21 race
