15/6 Rho ITT 8,4 km
16/6 Rho Fiera Milano - Cantù 146 km
17/6 Albese con Cassano - Passo Maniva 143 km

20/6 Ovada - Acqui Terme 155 km

There will be two mountain stages with uphill finish (3rd and 7th), one itt, two hilly stages (5th and 8th) and the other three stages for sprinters. The most difficult climbs will be Passo Maniva, Passo Penice (5th) and Pratonevoso. 14000m of elevation gain more or less.

Yeah that's an insanely stacked field.

Only Seixas really missing, but yeah he would demolish everyone so this is better. Nordhagen my favorite if he doesn't get sick. Widar of course too. Parcours isn't super hard (no real multi mountain stages).

Torres missing too, he will be there in Avenir (he said in the beginning of the year that it will be a target).

Yeah I kinda forgot about him cause I thought he fully went pro (which hasn't been really working so far imo). Avenir is gonna be insane if Seixas participates, but at this point I'm starting to think Decathlon might send him to Vuelta. And I'm not sure if Norway is riding Avenir this time? Are they still to broke?

I think all WT riders (on teams with associated devo teams) from 2003 or later can participate, so even Del Toro could ride the baby Giro.

I don't think Norway will ride Avenir.

Why not? Could pull him out on the first test day if they feel he is getting too fatigued and that would be just the same as doing the Dauphine.

Torres has not been that bad now has he. Around the top-25 in WT courses like Australië, Catalunya and Romandie and a podium at a small race like Abruzzo.

Crashed out in Hungary unfortunately. I think it is decent, not great.
