Evenepoel vs Vacek in Course de la Paix, 2 amazing talents who will both be riding for axeon next season (99% sure)

What kind of riders are they?

Vacek is a real climber, Evenepoel is much more allround

So yeah, this Evenepoel guy... He just tried going solo for +/- 85k after attacking on Loveckovice, the first climb of the day. He didn't hold on as he was reeled in by the peloton where the Czech's were working. But fear not, he wasn't done yet. He has now made it to the lead group of about seven riders who are probably going to make it all the way to the finish, a group in which Vacek is absent.

That's awfully close :) so, top 4 from the ITT was also in yesterday's front group of 8 that got a big advantage already.

Based on the Twitter feed, it looks like Evenepoel controlled the race by himself more than once. Impressive allround performance so far this week.

Wow, Antonio Tiberi was 3rd in s.t. as Vacek and Evenepoel. Born on June 24, 2001. Impressive.
Really impressive, both Vacek and Evenpoel are crazy strong.

Hors catégorie.

His first race was in April 2017, but still, he'd just started riding a bike by then anyhow.

Small Question: Did James Mitri of Burgos change his nationality? He's listed as a Kiwi nowadays but I could've sworn he was listed as a Brit earlier.
