How is Novak not losing time. Could actually win this whole thing, probably not, but what a surprise would that be.

Nice ride from Pericas. Another disappointing performance from Nordhagen.

Finn now riding for Tuckwell, but he is struggling.

Omrzel could attack soon.

EDIT: there he goes

Nordhagen drops Omrzel.

Let me remind you guys again that he decided to not ride behind Tuckwell and Omrzel 2 days ago. Visma = Samen Verliezen

Of course they don't show Omrzel coming over the finish, but I think Tuckwell makes it. Will be interesting tomorrow tho. Definitely not ove ryet

So Nordhagen first of the not stage 5 breakaway guys (if we forget about Novak). Joke team.

Bora have 3 or 4 exciting riders in this race. How many will make their WT roster?
Thornley has a contract for the WT next year. Good chances will have Tuckwell, Finn (but I think from 2027 on) and perhaps Boichis. But he need perhaps another year with the Rookies.
In addition I think Jasch will also have a good chance but he is to old for Giro Next Gen.

It seems that seven out of the top 10 have WT/Devo contracts for next year. Regarding Novak, jayco have a good track record of signing stagiare riders a year later, so one can hope.

Pericas distanced immediately off Rex's pace surprises me, looked like they were setting him up on the previous climb, Nordhagen was doing no hands on 13% so looks easy but he's way out of position.
