Mythical out climbing Hirt
lets put things into context, what happened to sky and Landa during this Giro and to come away with what they have they have done really well, its almost like people haver totally forget about the massive crash that sky had and the damage done to Landa

you can have cheap little jabs
if you want but id rather appreciate the fight that Landa and sky have shown since that crash

As if someone is foreign to cheap little jabs...let me reference your every other post in Contador's thread. Never hesitant to post something derogatory. Keep up the good work.

Bertie and his lies brings it on himself

Lol of course he is gonna be tired when he is in the break all day, if it had been proper dolomite stage he had smoked TJ. Those were 6-7 gradients all day. He killed Rui and Rolland on a proper climb the day after, on Pianco

What is the story with Landa......doesn't seem to be taking hi turn at the head of the TRAIN but seems ot ride on afterwards for a high placing ?? Strange as it looks like he is not puling his weight but riding for himself...no in top 10 ...unless SKY are throwing him a bone

It seems Sky are saving him for the 2nd part of the race. He may reach his top form later in the race, so i guess Sky believes he can top10, and maybe finish in the top 5, who knows.

If Sky were merely saving him, he wouldn't be 9th in the GC. I think he's just racing for himself and Sky kind of tolerate it because they haven't actually needed him so far, but that might be a problem waiting to happen.

Martinelli thinks that they are keeping him high on gc to have an option to put pressure on the other teams by sending him on the attack on one of the mountain stages.

I think today he was meant to work but first Nieve was still there and then others attacked so Froome had to react himself, otherwise he probably would've taken over from Nieve

He could barely keep the balance so tired he was. He has not managed to be shaped by Sky.

He was so tired that he came with the second groups with Quintana, Martin and Yates. He is fine.

After a downhill and flat part. Uphill he was mediocere, Nieve should have been before Froome.

Actually, he was riding with Yates until the summit before they catch Quintana and Martin on the descent. While I agree he didn't look that great, which is pretty normal after his hard Giro, i believe Sky doesn't want him to take a turn on the front bcs they want him to be in top shape in the 3rd week, therefore not waste energy by taking relays. This is what i think.

Landa has not been great so far this Tour...well not great as in living up to the hype on here...he has looked labored ...but then the hype on her about him is so over the top
Yet he's still ninth.

At this stage last year people were saying similar things about Wout Poels.

But Wout Poels does not get the hype Landa gets on this site...hence why I bring his performance up...Nieve and Henao are just behind Landa on GC and they have worked so hard...Wout Poels was not going for GC ...he was at the Tour as a Dom and he was excellent Dom. and his GC position was immaterial ....cant say that about Landa....

Dont know why people bring up Wout Poels for no good reason as he and Landa are miles apart

Landa is much better then them and he proved it several times :)
Poels was just domestic, Nieve showed he can´t be GC rider and Henao also showed that his limit is one week race

My point was that you might want to wait until the Tour is over before judging Sky riders. They're working to a plan.
