Watch the Milan-San Remo broadcast this Saturday on Universal Sports. The broadcast will be LIVE on-line at 10:00am (ET) and on US TV at 3:00pm (ET). See sprint specialist Cavendish along with top riders Armstrong, Bennati, Boonen, Cancellara, and the Schleck Brothers.

Thanks for the info. Would you tell your commentators that Lance has no shot of winning the race, (none) and that maybe it would be nice to not hear his name unless he is actually doing something in the race...like really doing something. Not just riding. Last year we had to endure the pontification of your commentators in regards to his chance of winning every single stage of the Giro regardless of profile. It was kind of stupid. Maybe talk about some of those riders from other countries...and not just the English speaking ones. You know, cause it would be nice to get a broader spectrum...

thanks but since the digital change over I can no longer receive over the air broadcasts from San Diego and your website geo-restricts on-line streaming

Will the video be archived on the Web site for later viewing?
They usually do. It takes several hours to show up, though. The bad news is they insist on putting the name of the winner a quarter inch from the play button. Maybe you could get someone to start it for you:) The live coverage doesn't always have commentary - it just keeps switching from quiet to helicopter sounds. They add in commentary later.

I doubt we'll be seeing much from the schlecks and armstrong. cavendish too seems very out of shape. bennati, though, would be my pick.

I think you'll see so much of Armstrong that you might assume incorrectly there aren't a hundred guys in front of him:rolleyes:

Do you have a working link for Eurosport UK audio? Sean and David got me through all three grand tours last year while I watched videos from all over, but my old link doesn't work. Thanks

Yes, there will be on-demand braodcasts up a couple hours after the LIVE race. And I will pass on that everyone is over hearing about Lance, but I can't make any promises. He does still draw in a lot of the population that doesn't totally know what's going on, unfortunately I know thats annoying for the fans that do.

Yes, thank you Universal Sports for being there and offering coverage when others (Cycling TV) still don't have a race calendar up and have a lot of people angry.

If I had just had one comment about the coverage, it would be great (especially with a lengthy race like MSR) to pick up the feed from RAI with more then 30k left.

Overall, in this day in age with technology and the internet,,etc..it amazes me how we are not able to see a full race from roll-out but maybe that's just me. Keep up the good work.

Sad for me, as a time Warner customer on the left coast, I don't have universal sports. I will trade my versus channel for universal.

I guess for live I have to check steephill to see which online feed I can access.

I will add cable and broadcast networks getting along and working to provide access to all who are willing to pay to the dream of watching a bike race from the start to the finish on my tv.

it is 4.4. if you have a digital tuner or a converter box you can get it FREE.

We will be updating our links to feeds throughout the day on the new look racedaypage. TV icon will bring up links which will be constantly updated. Page also now have pop up maps and profiles, previous winners, and built in live chat. Clever fellows :D

When i get home from work I'll check it out. I posted after looking at the universal website and after putting my zip code in, the site said sorry u are s.o.l.

I will check the other link too. Watched PN using the Spanish broadcast on my laptop and my Spanish is just good enough to get about 50% of what they said. The flemish link was an interesting language lesson for me. Just couldn't bring myself to mute it. Wanted to try to figure it out. Lost track of the race. Quickly had to go back to Spanish.

Thanks

I have the same question, I haven't been able to get Eurosport audio at all this year. I follow the Eurosport audio links posted on steephill.tv and cyclingfans.com but they haven't worked for me yet.

hey just a heads up, i live in cali also, and i also have time warner, but i have universal and versus and TVE and RAI...........you just need to get the right package, generally its $5 more a month to upgrade

also call them , the on line system in place to check for service availability is wack, i did the zip code, city thing and it came up as time w not available in your area at all, so i called , had it up and running full HD in 3 day after that,

i also enjoy the flemish broadcast.....:D.....i speak well 2 or 3 languages on a good day and i love the fact i can get the meaning of a fare bit, keep at it........:)

Thanks to both of you. I found the channel. Glad I didn't rely on the information I got on the website and posted here.

It was in the number range that I always skipped. Maybe I just have too many channels. If that is possible.

I am excited. I get to watch the race on TV and also get to compare to see if this station has announcers that are LABW's (Lance Armstrong ball washers) like versus. If they are, then I will mute them and listen to the flemish feed...why not learn a new language and giggle at a certain rider at the same time.

All these daggone L A monikers are hilarious!

I asked Steve about it, and he said neither the link he has posted or the old mms feed works, so it's not us or our computers.

The website at La Gazzetta dello Sport is carrying the race for the first time this year, and it looks like their coverage starts an hour before Eurosport and two hours before Universal Sports kicks in.

For those in Australia and you have cable, Eurosport is showing 1 hour of the race (NFI if it is the final hour of racing or just highlights, it doesn't say) from Sunday morning at 1am Queensland time.
