Anyone notice that the Astana guys were there, but not Radioshack.

I did. I think they had two in the top 10-12 (can't tell from the video). I know Maxim finished 8th.

Turns out to be 13th (E Gasp). Grivko finished 26th. Maybe they won the vaunted Team Classification!

I'm still not sure that Sky rider who contested the sprint was EBH, it may have been Simon Gerrans. Either way, he got in the wind with about 700m to go, and then managed to get on Boonen's wheel but left a bit of a gap and spent too much energy closing it down.
It was Flecha.

EBH dissapeared with 25 km to go, he wasn't anywhere close.

Are there any stages in the Tour that look like Milan-San Remo? I don't think it tell us anything this fact. And it wouldn't have told us something, even if it was the other way around.

Try Tirreno just a week or so ago. Lots of killer uphill finishes, and Astana seemed in the play.

Is Freire still calling it quits at the end of this season, or is he regaining his appetite?

His decision is pending the Worlds result. But back in January he sounded like someone trying and failling to convince himself not to ride in 2011

No, it was in the Dutch news a few days back that he was staying with Rabo through 2011 at least.

I think he should go for one more big one this year and pull the plug. Imagine if he could retire In Rainbows. (What does the profile look like this year?)

The Italian commentators were saying EBH had got up into the first group coming down off the Poggio, but I couldn't see him in the last 2 km.

Modolo also very impressive. I was cursing at him because I thought he podiumed and took my prize away :)

The guy is 22, 4th in 300km race is great.

Yeah they just showed the top 27, EBH not in the leading group, for all the Gazetta commentators mentioned his name.

Man, Friere! Can't not love that guy. I think I remember reading that he's planning on riding next year as well. Fourth worlds?

Props to ak-zaaf for winning the podium contest! He was the only one to call it. It only took what, 5 races for someone to walk away with the spoils?

Melbourne looks like a sprinters race.
