Pogacar was a true pancake today. Did not want to pull with the others and deservedly lost the podium.
I mean, Ganna also didn't do too many proper pulls, that has to be said.

Nice one for Pippo, now I wanna see him in G-W and Paris-Roubaix. Dare I say that Pidcock not racing this one after his Tirreno crash was good for him, since the team didn't have him work for anyone?

WVA didn't care for another second place. He put everything in the pursuit, while Ganna was saving something for the finish.

Pogacar did what was to be expected: attacking on the Poggio, and getting two or three guys with him.
Eh I don't think Pogacar was supposed to get dropped.

I think the Poggio is once again exposed as a 1 minute yolopunch more so than a 6 minute even climb.

Congrats to MVP, he proved the strongest at the end. Three strong guys couldn't catch him. Ganna also sensational. UAE played it very well this year and put Pogacar on pole position with 7 km to go but the Slovenian maybe wasn't as strong as last year and didn't have explosivity left to fight for the podium - 4th place is a disappointment.
